Welcome to my professional portfolio. I have included a brief glimpse
of my growth in the six pillars of the conceptual framework of the education program at West Virginia University-Parkersburg. The six pillars are Professional Commitment, Planning, Diversity, Decision-Making
Skills, Teaching Skills, and Interpersonal Skills. Also included in this portfolio
are reflective journal entries, a few artifacts of my own, and a lesson plan from my Education 401 class.
This portfolio is set up in two parts. Each of the pillars has two artifacts
and descriptions. The first artifact is from approximately half way through my
college career. The second artifact is from right before student teaching.
The journals are broken up in a similar fashion.
The Education 100 and Education 200 journals are from the first half of my college career. The Education 330 and Education 401 journals are from the second half.
The artifacts are also broken up. Artifact 1 and 2 are from the first
half. Artifact 3 and 4 are from the second half.
The lesson plan from Education 401 is a lesson from my capstone class.
I hope you enjoy your journey through a small glimpse of my college career.
